In order for Wellcoaches to submit accurate reports to various organizations governing approval of our continuing education hours, ALL feedback surveys must be completed in full and submitted within 30 days of the last class.  If you are seeking continuing education from organizations other than ANCC, NCHEC, or CEI (pharmacists), you are responsible for submitting to your organization. You are also responsible for truthfully attesting that you attended classes live, if required by your continuing education provider.
 

ACSM [American College of Sports Medicine]
95 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) toward ACSM recertification. The American College of Sports Medicine's Professional Education Committee certifies that Wellcoaches Corporation meets the criteria for official ACSM Approved Provider Status.

BOC/NATA [Board of Certification for National Athletic Trainers Association]
95 Category A Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Wellcoaches is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. This program has been approved for a maximum of 95 hours of Category A Continuing Education Units (CEUs).Certified Athletic Trainers are responsible for claiming only those hours actually spent participating in the continuing education activity. Number of hours actually participated: 95.

CDR/AND [Commission on Dietetic Registration for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics]
95 Level 2 Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEUs) for Registered Dietitians (RD) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTR). Wellcoaches is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Register Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians will receive 95 Level 2 CPEUsfor completion of this program/material.

MCHES/CHES [National Commission for Health Education Credentialing]
95 Entry Level, Category 1 Contact Hours in Health Education
for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES).

Wellcoaches, a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECHs) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive up to 95 Entry Level, Category 1 Contact Hours in Health Education. Total contact hours earned: 95. Please note: Zero (0) Advanced Level CECHs are available for this program.

DIABETES EDUCATORS
To satisfy the requirement for renewal of certification by continuing education for the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE), continuing education activities must be applicable to diabetes and approved by a provider on the NCBDE List of Recognized Providers. NCBDE does not approve continuing education. Wellcoaches is accredited or approved by ACSM, CDR and ANCC (through a joint providership with the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing), which are on the list of NCBDE Recognized Providers.

Coach-Related Continuing Education

CCE [Center for Credentialing and Education] 
Wellcoaches 10-month, Advanced Professional Coach Training Program has been approved by the Center for Credentialing and Education. Upon notification and approval of their Professional Coach certification from Wellcoaches, participating coaches are eligible to apply for approval as a "Board Certified Coach".

ICF ACTP [International Coach Federation Accredited Coach Training Program] 
Trainees who complete the sequence of Wellcoaches Core Health & Wellness Coach Training & Certification Program (HWCT) and the 9-month Advanced Professional Coach Training & Certification Program (PCT) may earn 132.5 ICF Coach Specific Training Hours and apply for an ICF credential (ACC or PCC) via the ACTP Path. Important Note: PCT graduates with a cohort starting date of October 2011 or later are eligible to apply for the ICF credential via the ACTP Path. Due to Wellcoaches original ACTP approval date, PCT graduates with a cohort starting date of June 2010 must apply for the ICF credential via the Portfolio Path.

NBHWC [National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching]
This CE course is approved by ICHWC for 95 continuing education units.

WELLCOACHES 
Wellcoaches Certified Health & Wellness Coaches and Certified Personal Coaches will receive 95 Continuing Coach Education Hours (CCEHs) for completing the Advanced Professional Coach Training Program.
